One of my favorite parts of photographing wedding days is capturing the details. There are so many small items that play a big role in how you look and feel on your wedding day.

I've compiled a list of items commonly included in wedding flat lays and bride and groom detail photos. You may want your wedding photographer to include these in your photos. To make the process seamless, have all these items in or near a bag or tub in a centralized location in the bride’s or groom’s suite when your photographer arrives. This way, they can start capturing all the beautiful details right away rather than running from room to room, risking missing something important to you in your photos.

This is meant to be a mostly comprehensive list - there are likely to be many items that don't apply to you or your day. I am including a downloadable checklist as a Doc, so you may simply remove or skip any items that don’t apply to you or your wedding style.
