  • How do we book you?
First off - awesome! I'd love that! Next, once we've chatted and settled on a package, checked that your date is available, and made sure that I'm able to offer what you're looking for, I just need your email address. I may send out a questionnaire for any information I haven't already asked. Then I'll use that to create your contract and quote. You'll be emailed a link to your client portal where you can securely create a login (I never see your login info), e-sign your contract, and pay your 30% non-refundable retainer. Now you're officially booked! Welcome! I can't wait to get to know you and your love!
  • Where are you located? Do you travel?
I am located in Salyersville, Kentucky, about 1 hour 35 minutes from Lexington. Kentucky. There is no travel fee for venues under 2 hours from Salyersville, Kentucky. For other Kentucky locations, typical travel fees are $100-300. Tennessee: I frequently visit my parents in my hometown of Springfield, Tennessee which means there is no travel fee within 1 hour of Springfield, TN. West Virginia and Beyond: Travel Fees start at $200.
  • Do you require a deposit?
A 30% non-refundable retainer is required along with your signed contract to reserve your date. As soon as this is paid you're officially in my calendar! The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date and flexible payment plans are available.
  • How many weddings have you done?
I have been photographing weddings since November 2017 and filming weddings since April 2021 and will have had 47 combined weddings under my belt by September 2023.
  • Why do you only take 15 weddings per year?
Limiting the number of weddings I take means a number of great things for you! Prompt communication. Sneak peaks within 48 hours. I'm not confusing your details with someone else's. Shorter turnaround times on galleries and films. All editing is done by me, not outsourced. Memory cards are not erased until delivered and/or properly backed up on multiple drives.
  • Do we have to purchase prints through you?
When you order through me I know that you are receiving amazing quality that is available only to professional photographers. It also gives me the chance to see your prints myself before delivery to make sure everything came out exactly as intended. I have a few different companies I use depending on the product and can order anything you like, including paper prints, wood prints, metal prints, acrylic prints, framed prints, canvases, albums, and custom USBs in an heirloom box. While it is not required, I would be honored if you trust me with your tangible products along with your digital memories.
  • How many images will I receive?
All wedding packages include all of the best edited images in an online gallery. This comes out to about 50-75 edited images per hour of coverage but every wedding is different. The exact number of images will vary, but you will never be charged per image for weddings!
  • Do we have to do an Engagement Session?
Every Wedding Package begins with an engagement session. Whether you've done one with another photographer a while back, or just don't see them as a necessity, every couple is highly encouraged to meet with me for an engagement session. I use this in place of a "let's meet for coffee" date (unless that's what a couple prefers). It accomplishes all the same purposes but is much more fun! It serves as a time to get to know you and get you comfortable with me and my camera so the ice is broken before the big day.
  • What if we love your work but none of your packages perfectly fit our needs or budget?
Please do not let that stop you from contacting me! Send me a message with your date, venue, and desired budget. I will do my best to work with you! Local and bucket list venues in Kentucky may already be eligible for special pricing!
  • What gear do you shoot with?
My current bag consists of: Canon R6 Mark II (main) Canon R6 (second angle) Canon 6DMII (backup) Canon 135mm f2 Canon 100mm f2.8 Macro Samyang RF 85mm f1.4 Canon 50mm f1.4 Canon RF 35mm f1.8, Canon EF 24mm f1.4L II As well as lights, flashes, rain coverings, clear umbrella, wood hangers, and anything else I think might come in handy.
  • Do you have insurance?
I hold a $1 Mil liability policy. I can send a copy to your venue if requested.
